Alfred - A OpenSource PAM Module for linux allows users to authenticate against a Netware Server using PAM. This means that any PAM enabled application can take advantage of the system.
The Alfred project has released its first piece of code. The NDS Authentication pair. This allows NDS users to migrate and use any PAM-enabled Unix computer. (This is designed for administrators NOT users, as it requires loading stuff on the Novell server as well. If you are a User then try NCPmount package.)
This can be used by any PAM-enabled application, although it doesn't work properly with some programs that use a semi-PAM-auth method, ie IMAP. Patches for some more useful programs (that used this semi-PAM-auth method) will also be released. (IMAP will be released later today.)
