#75955 Project registration rejection: specmgr

Hello,

I placed a new project request for "specmgr", an open
source radio spectrum management software package.

I see that it was rejected.

So far as project description goes, I'm not sure what
was confusing/missing about it. The software will
allow community networks and other license-exempt radio
spectrum stake-holders register their systems so that
other users of the radio spectrum can coordinate with
each other, and get in touch with each other if
conflicts arise.

If I'm not being clear enough, or if you have doubts,
please do let me know.

Thanks

Matthew

length) of the software you are developing, including the
programming language(s) used in its development and its
    major features.

    2. Details of the Open Source license (either the name of an
OSI-approved license, or the exact terms of the license if
it is not an OSI-approved license) which will be used by
    your project.

The software provides a MySQL/Postgres database for radio
network operators to define their networks. This includes
radio model, antenna model, losses, power outputs,
geographical coordinates (antenna aiming etc) and other
things needed to coordinate between radio spectrum users.
It will allow independent users to manage interference
issues (such as the case may be with overlapping radio
paths) and provide entities with a radio network management
    system.

    For example:
    * WISP 1 sets up a point to point radio link and finds
interference. They can query the database by providing
information about their PTP link, and if potential conflicts
are found they can then contact the other operators to find
    a resolution to the problem.

I thought I said it was the GPL. I'm not sure how to
    clarify beyond that.
