We've moved Mesa's CVS repository to a new host
(freedesktop.org) because of frequent
problems/complaints with SourceForge's anonymous CVS
Can you please delete the mesa3d project's CVS tree?

Anonymous CVS users were complaining about:
1. frequent timeouts and disconnects while doing CVS
checkouts and updates
2. a 24-hour, or so, delay in getting the latest check-ins.
The DRI project was also moved to freedesktop.org for this

We did have a few hiccups there for a while with CVS.
Currently it's been running great with very little delay
between checkin's and checkouts.
Are people still seeing issues?
> Are people still seeing issues?
Well, not with the DRI or Mesa projects since Sourceforge's
CVS is no longer being used <shrug>.
As a test, I just tried an anonymous CVS update of the
Chromium project and I got:
login Logging in to
cvs [login aborted]: end of file from server (consult above
messages if any)
So clearly, something is still not up to snuff.
A lot of time has passed on this ticket. Do you still want
your mesa3d project CVS tree removed?
Everyone's using the new Mesa repository on freedesktop.org
so the old one on SourceForge is effectively dead anyway.
Feel free to delete it, or not - it's up to you.
