Hi,

Since a few weeks ago I can't access any project home
page (http://foo.sourceforge.net/) from my home
connection. My ISP claims it's "transparent" web proxy
is working all right, and that the problem is at your end.

While I'm not sure I believe them, I'd rather make
sure. Is there any chance projects.sourceforge.net is
blocking the proxy? I get different proxies for
different hosts, but all of them seem to be in the
80.58.x.x network (probably 80.58.1.42 or 80.58.1.46,
although there are others).

Thanks in advance,

    Greetings,

When we firewall off a host, we do it across the entire
network. This would mean that you could not post this
Support Request or acces http://www.sourceforge.net. As
such, this issue is not related to any restrictions on our
side. Should you require further assistance, please submit a
new Support Request. Should you be located in China, please
    re-open this Support Request.

    Thank you,

    Hi,

I've contacted the proxy admins at my ISP and they have
tracked my connections to the projects web services
    (66.35.250.209).

They have confirmed the machine is refusing connections from
the proxy server. The proxy IP's are 80.58.1.107 and
80.58.1.43 (for a connection to the US, the first is more
    likely to be used).

Could you please take a look at this? After helping them
diagnose the problem I'm really confident that's the real cause.

I can access other sourceforge.net servers, but the proxies
are load balanced based on source and destination of the
connection, and we haven't traced those connections, so it
    could go through another machine.

Besides, there is always the SSL interface, which doesn't go
    through any proxy :-)

    Thanks in advance,

I've removed those two IPs from our blacklist. Those
proxies were involved in an undue amount of traffic a few
    months ago, in separate incidents.
