Hi, I have submitted this question in the past but have yet to receive a response. I have also posted to the help forum and have not received a response. So here\'s to another shot in the dark ;-)
I have a registered domain (openticket.org) which I wish to point to my project\'s page here at sourceforge (openticket.sourceforge.net). Currently my site is \"parked\" at a read-only placeholder page.
What do I need to do to setup the link? If I manage my domain to point to the IP address for the sourceforge webserver, won\'t the domain then just point to the main sourceforge website? Is there something else I must do to ensure it points directly to my project?
Any response at all would be great ;-) Thanks!
Okay.. what you need to do is point your domain at the IP
Address 18.104.22.168 or make it a CNAME to
shell1.sourceforge.net. After you get that done, just email
me email@example.com and I'll setup the httpd.conf
on our end for you.
Is it possible to set up httpd.conf first, then repoint the
domain? To avoid interruptions in the domain's availability?
