In looking at this forum and the (lack of) directly written doco for installation, I'm wondering if anyone has ever installed SF on a Gentoo box? I tend to prefer Gentoo for server installations, as I can select and custom compile each app I install. I did an emerge search and didn't seem to find anyone with an ebuild script already in portage.

Alternately, does someone have a pretty good link to the steps needed to get SF installed? Something along the lines of 1) install cvs 2) install mysql vx.y.z 3) install apache 1.3/2.0 + PHP x.y.z, ....? Is there some hidden doc I'm missing so far, or is this more of a "install, run, see next error, fix it, lather, rinse, repeat"?
