For the curious wondering what I'm checking in. I've created a new  
branch in cvs. 'devel-loader' This way I can try and develop the  
loader in smaller steps while checking the code into CVS for others  
to comment upon.

Once this is done, settled, and clear, I'll merge it back onto the  
main trunk.
