Personally, I'd rather not drop a feature of the existing code offhand. Though 256 colors does have the stronger ploy at the moment. Between not looking right on the OSX machines it runs on (I haven't strongly looked into addressing the color issues yet), and just plain not being able to kick into 256 color mode the way M2 does on some OSX boxes. I honestly don't know all the machines that will try to run it, and right now I'm sometimes dipping below 30 fps at high-res & 100%. (I admit the code is also tied up with more error checking too, but I'm not using Marathon infinity files either) Certainly it makes certain things smoother if you only choose from available screen sizes and then most of the in-game toggling that you have comes from turning the HUD on and off :) -Jeremy Parsons On Saturday, March 8, 2003, at 01:26 PM, Kevin Walker wrote: > On Saturday, March 8, 2003, at 02:11 PM, Mark Levin wrote: >> IMHO it would be reasonable to drop low-resolution mode entirely by >> now.
