Unfortunately I missed the beginning of this argument, but I vote for priority #1. The ability to drop the app into an existing Marathon scenario and have it just plain work at all stages of development would be a very Good Thing (it would certainly make testing easier). Perhaps the executable could include a default config file that works with the MI scenario. Once the code has been transformed to something worthy of the name "modular", it should be much easier to go back and add new features for the users (from the perspective of us, the coders, this refers to both players and scenario authors). --Mark "If you're going to break the eggs, make the damn omlette." |
