I did just that, and found that they are flexible enough to do pretty 
much anything I want. For now, though, I just put together a simple 
html/css page. You can view it here:

It uses XHTML 1.1 and CSS 2, which naturally means it's not 
pixel-perfect across platforms. It works everywhere I've looked so 
far, but is slightly odd looking in IE 5.2.x for OS X. (Looks best in 
Gecko-based browsers like Chimera.)

Let me know if you like it, or if you think it needs tweaking, or 
especially if you think it's simply horrible. I still need to test it 
in IE5.x/Win, since it's notorious for messing up CSS layouts.

Oh, and most of the links work, but a few don't, like the FAQ, the 
roadmap, or the "how to check out AM from CVS" stuff. I plan to work 
on that stuff later, once the main page is done.
