The most recent ADC mail mentions a new Technote.

Now I admit my own ability to grok this is limited at the moment.  
However it seems worth reading over for all of us dealing with 10.2 and  
wanting things to work under 10.1 (or adding 10.2 specific features  
when on 10.2) I probably need to read this paper over a couple times  
when I'm awake.
