There's another wierd MFC bug, that Aleph One should
be MDI, but isn't... When you close a view, then open a
new one, it crashes with an error saying it can't register
a certain window type. This window type I have no idea
about - it is some MFC internal thing I think...

But you can successfully open an number of ".ixi" files,
renderthem, and save them. So it is only "New", empty
documents, rather than opened ones that this affects. See,
odd isn't it?
