AldoContet project is pleased to communicate the recent release of the AldoContent CMS version 1.0b completely revamped for PHP5 with new plugins and features.

This release is in beta stage

Uploaded a new tar file for the version 9.04 in the project downloads to replace the damaged tar file

From November 15, the AldoContent source code is publicly available on the SourceForge Subversion repository.

By now only the 0.9.x branch is available the 1.0 source code will be published in a few days.

This is a maintenance release. Before upgrade your installation please read the UPGRADING file and the changelog.

Now the 0.9.x releases are the legacy branch to maintain bug fixing in a version compatible with PHP4

The incoming release in a few days is the 1.0, entirely rewritten for PHP5.

Proudly we announce the starting of the AldoContent Wiki on its project page at Source Forge (Thanks SF for this great tool).

The wiki starts with installation and install customization directions, it will contain documentation such as template and plugins developing. More content will come soon!

Now you can learn about AldoContent in its demo site: http://demo.argotvisual.net/, visit the demo page and login to see how it works. The demo is protected to avoid changing the website content, but you can navigate the administration to see how its designed.

This maintenance release updates the package to include the latest version on FCKEditor, also fixes some bugs and enhaces the multilanguage system.

Now is possible to have multilingual websites, without have installed the corresponding translation for the interface. Only is needed to create a empty folder under the locales directory

A new AldoContent release was published. Now the plugings can be downloaded separated from the core application. In this way, it will be easier to release new plugins independently.

A new package of AldoContent was published in SourceForge.net.

This is a bug-fix release to solve the bugs reported after the first beta was released

The first public release of AldoContent has ben released.

AldoContent is a Content Management System written in PHP and using the MySQL database as backend.

AldoContent is in the process of Copyright paperwork with the Mexican government. This is the previous step to publish it. Although AldoContent is a GPL'd work, is very important to have a legal support to preserve it as GPL'd

Today, 1st May, (to celebrate the "Labour Day") AldoContent website was started, with all the information related to the system.
