[Alacrityvm-users] [ANNOUNCE] Linux guest drivers

We are pleased to announce the availability of stand-alone driver
packages for Linux based guests for AlacrityVM.

Prior AlacrityVM releases required installing a modified kernel to gain
accelerated IO.  These packages provide kernel-module-packages for
existing distribution kernels.  We currently only support SuSE based
distributions, though others such as RHEL, Fedora, and CentOS are
planned in the near future.  We can theoretically support any system
that the opensuse-buildservice supports, which includes some Debian
based distros as well.  Its purely an issue of developing the package
metadata.  Patches welcome!
