------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee. http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=168829 Summary: Fonts are rendered differently in pure Akregator and Kontact/Akregator Product: kontact Version: unspecified Platform: unspecified OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: akregator AssignedTo: akregator-devel lists sourceforge net ReportedBy: n8schicht gmail com Version: Unbekannt (using 4.1.00 (KDE 4.1.0), Arch Linux) Compiler: gcc OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.25-ARCH For some News-Feeds the fonts will be displayed differently, depending on wheather you are reading the site in pure Akregator or in the "Akregator plugin" in Kontact. (Note: you have to activate the option to download the whole website and not just the RSS text). Take the Heise Newsfeed for example: http://www.heise.de/newsticker/heise.rdf Akregator: http://www.abload.de/image.php?img=akregatorpw7.png Kontact: http://www.abload.de/image.php?img=kontact0h3.png Already in KDE 3.5 I observed this behaviour, and it seems like it became ported to KDE4. Maybe it has something to do with the DPI-setting? Because on my desktop machine with 96 DPI it looks all the same, but on my laptop with WSXGA and something like 120 DPI I can observe this. This happend also after a fresh install of Linux and KDE. |
