hi all,
what is the purpose of the org.rzo.ajax4jmx.httpadapter.MxHttpAdapter.MxHttpAdapter? It does not seem to be invoked in the deployment to tomcat.
My interest is in the binding of the tomcat security realm to the Ajax4JMX webapp. I cant seem to see how the code is called.
any hepl is most appreciated.

hi,
MxHttpAdapter is similar to: http://mx4j.sourceforge.net/docs/ch05.html http://docs.sun.com/app/docs/doc/816-7608/6mdjqgnhb?a=view http://www.servletsuite.com/jmx/jmx-html.htm
it is implementd using embedded tomcat: http://www.onjava.com/pub/a/onjava/2002/04/03/tomcat.html
MxHttpAdpater already includes a simple tomcat realm. usage is simple:
MxHttpAdapter x = new MxHttpAdapter(); x.setUser("admin"); x.setPassword("admin"); x.setPort(8080); x.init(); x.start();
