I founded an explanation for this in the earlier documentation, but now it is not there anymore.
The links to the Wiki are dead also, so i cannot add a moderator tot the Ajax-Chat, who is not a moderator in the community.
Perhaps someone can give me the explanation here.

This type of functionality seems only to be available in commercial chat software, so it'd certainly be a very welcome addition to AJAX Chat!
- Admin can to switch a channel to "moderated mode"
- Admin or Moderator can set 1 or more users as "VIP" (Can chat without moderation)
- Guests and/or Registered Users can submit messages
- Admins & Moderators see all messages & can click an "Approve" button next to them
- Approved messages are moved to an "Approved" queue & can be dispatched by a Moderator or Admin when appropriate
- Guests, Registered Users & VIPs see only messages dispatched from the "Approved" queue, and messages sent by VIPs, Admins & Moderators
Probably not a simple task, but it would definitely give AJAX Chat a leg up over the other free/open packages. (i.e. phpMyChat or phpFreeChat)
