Hello,

Unfortunately, my question is not how to handle diskette under AIX
(following commands are perfect).
My question is really related to Linux and AIX. I try to explain better.

With Linux affinity, is there a way to mount image file coming from Linux
under AIX ?
I took as example bootdisk.img but in fact all ramdisk disks created under
Linux.
I mean how to use "losetup" command and "mount -o loop" under AIX.
[AIX mount command doesn't support following types of filesystem : dos and
ext3.
So I don't know how to add this]
Have you already re-compiled "mount " in order to be able to use mount in
loopback under AIX ?

Pierre ,

Well, you cant actually mount floppy disks in AIX. However, if it is a DOS
formatted disk then you are in luck. Install the bos.dosutil fileset (it's
on the AIX cd's), which give you dosdir,dosformat,dosread,doswrite. These
commands will allow you to read/write dos formatted disks in AIX.
