That error usually implies a download corruption. 
The sum for that image should be "19303 4624".
Be sure to download binary.  If you have wget installed, use that:
  wget ftp://ftp.software.ibm.com/aix/freeSoftware/aixtoolbox/RPMS/ppc/samba/samba-2.0.7-4.aix4.3.ppc.rpm

One of the improvements that I need to do is make the sums publicly 
available.
