Ralf, you're just too darned quick. I was going to make an announcement about KDE 2.1 and still will, but you beat me to it. We had a couple of glitches, one during the KDE 2.1 build and one involving the web site. The web site glitch was supposed to be fixed today, but it wasn't. The build glitch was that we were doing some transition work for the future on our backup build system, and the libjpeg on that system had one extra exposed symbolic link that wasn't exposed in libjpeg-6b-2. That caused kde to generate a dependency on libjpeg.so, which you somehow had to get around (did you use --nodeps to install it)? If I'm right, what you ought to be able to do is ln -s /opt/freeware/lib/libjpeg.so.62.0.0 /usr/lib/libjpeg Marc > > Saw the new RPMs for KDE2.1 yesterday and upgraded my machine.
