I don't see any rsync configuration options to enable large files. Are you using a file system which isn't large file-enabled by chance? Run "lsfs -q fsname" and check the value for bf. If it's not true, then you don't have a large file-enabled filesystem. You can't large-file-enable existing filesystem; they have to be created that way. Marc P.S.
