Pat, I have downloaded the libpcap package from http://www.tcpdump.org/ and was able to build it on AIX 4.3.3 (read the README.aix file for hints on doing this). Can't say anything about etherape, though. Pat Strode wrote: > Hello, > > I have just installed the AIX Toolbox for Linux and gcc on one of our SP nodes at Cooper Power Systems. The problem I run into is that the buttons do not respond when clicked. The errors seem to come from Glade and/or GTK. As usuall, the etherape > programs runs quite well under native Linux. Etherape is a graphical network monitor which uses libpcap. > > Do you have any plans to port Ethereal, NetSaint, or Ntop to AIX ?? > > Thanks in advance, > > Pat Strode > > _______________________________________________ > aixtoolbox-list mailing list > aix...@os... > http://oss.software.ibm.com/developerworks/opensource/mailman/listinfo/aixtoolbox-list -- Bob Carver ``Being politically correct means always having to say you're sorry.'' --Charles Osgood |
