[tbox-l] PDF Toolkit

Hi!

 

                I have a problem.  There is no PDF toolkit available for
AIX (I'm using AIX 5.3).  Not that I can find anywhere on the Internet,
from AIX Toolkit to IBM website to Bull Freeware.  

 

                But there is source code at
http://www.pdfhacks.com/pdftk .  So, I downloaded it and learned that it
required GCJ  (JAVA compiler as part of GCC).  Again, I could not find
GCJ anywhere from AIX Toolkit to IBM website to Bull Freeware.  So, I
downloaded the GCC source code and had trouble getting GCJ to compile.

 

                Since PDF is very common, so I don't know why there
isn't one for AIX.  Some of our customers are waiting for it.  

 

                I welcome some suggestion or help.
