[tbox-l] Problem with AIX tool box RPM

My development partner is encountering a problem when trying to install 
emacs from the AIX tool box. This has been done successfully for sometime, 
this problem is a new issue. 

1) With AIX install you get:
/usr/libXpm.a -> /usr/lpp/X11/lib/R7/libXpm.a

2) With post processing, we apply rpm  xpm-3.4k-7.aix5.1.ppc.rpm, which 
changes symlink to:
/usr/lib/libXpm.a -> /opt/freeware/lib/libXpm.a

3) If the rpm is removed, possibly during an upgrade or an rpm removal 
(rpm -e) /usr/lib/libXpm.a no longer exists.

This rpm comes from the IBM AIX Toolbox site:
