Hi,

I opened a ticket

in the sourceforge issue traccker.

In short (details see ticket): the rpm command on AIX 6.1 creates an
unwanted directory for each package installed with the --prefix rpm
switch. This seems to be a bug special to the outdated rpm version used
in AIX. I can provide a simple test rpm with spec files to reproduce the
problem.

Any comments?
