#98 cannot configure sawfish workspaces

From the Gnome Control Center, the sawfish -> workspaces panel comes flashes, then goes blank. If I continue to try and select it, the control center session hangs.

This is idependent of whether I start control center, then try to select the workspaces item, or if I try to directly select it from the pulldown 'setting' on the top of the screen. AIX 5.1L

Defect scrub... This is an old one.
This predates GNOME 1.4, which is the newest level in the Toolbox today.
May or may not still exist in sawfish-1.0, GNOME 1.4.

I've confirmed that this problem still exists in GNOME 1.4.
It fails with both control-center 1.4.0.1 and with the newly uploaded
level 1.4.0.4.
