Hi Douglas, For a notebook with PCMCIA network cards, you don't want to be using that eth0-cfg stuff to configure them. Try emptying/disabling that script, then take a look at /etc/pcmcia/network.opts Hopefully, RedHatrosoft <g> hasn't mucked with the standard pcmcia stuff. Worst case, go check out http://pcmcia-cs.sourceforge.net/ and get/build/install the standard PCMCIA packages (disclaimer: haven't played with RedHat in quite some time; my Thinkpad is running Slackware8 -- do this at your own risk), _then_ look at /etc/pcmcia/network.opts. You can define configurations based on the "scheme" (changable with `cardctl scheme xxx`), MAC address, which card slot, etc. See specifically http://pcmcia-cs.sourceforge.net/ftp/doc/PCMCIA-HOWTO-4.html#ss4.3 Linux's pcmcia-cs is about the best control of pccard resources I've seen in any OS to date...
