I needed to hack airo.h for some reason as it failed to take the correct action on each of the #if (LINUX_VERSION_CODE < 0x203..) lines. I forced it to take to #else action and it now compiles cleanly. However, when I "cardctl eject" followed by "cardctl insert", "ifconfig -a" then hangs and although I can proceed to reboot, even the reboot hangs forcing a power cycling. I believe that the eth0 interface comes halfway back up but various kernel structures are corrupted. For example, after the above sequence of cardctls, "ls" reports that /proc/driver/aironet/eth0/Config is there, but "cat"ing it causes a segmentation fault (as does "cat"ing Status etc.). I hope you can use this information to fix the problem. Cheers, Bob Edwards. |
