I tried a PCI4800 in a Win2K Pro. box some time back and I could not get it
to function at all - the machine just didn't see the card (the same card
worked fine in an NT4.0 w/s). However I also had a broken (dead radio)
PCI340 card to hand, so I swapped the LM4800 radio for the dead 340 radio
card and re-installed this hybrid, and it worked fine..... I am using V6.97
of the Win98-2K drivers and the LM4800A radio is running firmware version
4.13. This combination works well.

Subject: [Aironet] PCI4800
Second question of the first day, I must be on a role.
A coworker fo mine is trying to use the most recent production of the
PCI4800 in Win2k. The PCI4800 has the latest firmware available. When he
uses the NT driver for the PCI4800, or the PCI340 driver neither function
100%. Does anyone have a driver that will work?
Thanks in advance
