In my office, they just switched all the access points over from WEP -
shared to WEP - open. I verified this by booting Windows and
connecting. For a while I couldn't associate my linux client with the
access point. Finally, someone tried "WEP: encrypt" on their linux
box. Poof, everything worked.
Are "WEP: open" and "WEP: encrypt" known to be reversed in the linux
PS: We're using several different versions of the linux driver and all
have the same experience.
