I am running RedHat 6.0 on an x86 processor and using the Aironet
PC4800/AP4800 pair for wireless networking. We installed the drivers as
instructed, but we seem to have a connection problem. That is, we do
not get a wireless connection without several reboots. The PC card
blinks amber (green led off) when there is not a connection, which as
far as I can tell does not correspond to any particular state in the
documentation. Also, in terms of order of the Runlevel Manager, the
network script is run way before the pcmcia script (number 10 compared
to number 45, for runlevel 3). Any tips or suggestions? I don't
believe it's an environmental problem, as they currently sit 2 inches
away from each other. Thanks for any help.
