I recently (thought I) obtained a PC4800A for my AP in the form of an ISA4800A.
To my surprise the card didn't work in a PCMCIA slot. Sure enough, radinfo
(through the ISA interface) reports the boot block as "1.27/ISA". Previously
I had thought that all ISA and PCMCIA versions were the same with only the PCI
version requiring a different boot block. If I were able to clone the boot
block from a PC4800A with a vanilla "1.27" type would it be sufficient or is
something more going on here?
