I'm having trouble getting the 350 PCMCIA card working in Mandrake 9.1 (kernel 2.4.21). Using the 2.0 (Cisco's version) drivers from Cisco's site, and PCMCIA 3.2.4.
I'm copying someone elses log, since it says the same thing as mine:
Cardmgr[531]: executing: 'modprobe -r airo_cs'
Cardmgr[531]: socket 0: 350 Series Wireless LAN Adapter
Cardmgr[531]: executing: 'modprobe airo_cs'
Kernel: airo: Probing for PCI adapters
Kernel: airo: Finishing probing for PCI adapters
Kernel: airo: Max tries exceeded when issueing command
Kernel: airo: Max tries exceeded when issueing command
Kernel: airo: MAX could not be enabled
Kernel: airo_cs: RequestConfiguration: Operation succeeded
Cardmgr[531]: get dev info on socket 0 failed: Resource temporarily
unavailable
I've been reading and looking for help extensively, and have found at least ten unanswered newsgroup posts from people with the same problem, so hopefully someone here can help.
Thanks, and have a good day.

Matt Flower helped me out with this - it is due to an incompatible newer version of the card firmware. Instructions and explanation are here, if anyone's interested.
