I am having a hell of a time getting this to work
/proc/irq sees the card (the card works in Windows)
I am confused on whether or not I need pcmcia. I would think not, but I've found a few sites that say the mini-pci slot is seen as slot 2 for pcmcia. I dont know that thats true, but w/ or w/o pcmcia, the insmod of airo doesnt yield the card being found. I've tried cisco's drivers and airo-linux w/ no luck, as a matter of fact, airo-linux copied over to the kernel net/wireless dir wont compile right on a kernel recompile..

For this card in an inspiron 8200, it's on the pci bus. I can't vouch for other laptops.
Just download the latest linux drivers from cisco. That's all that works right now.
