First of all i'm a Portugal aIRC user , and i'm using aIRC script since the first versions, until aIRC++ it was the best.
After i instaled the script i've noticed some diferences, no menus instaled, no Fast features, aIRC was no more a usefull script, because i'm in IRC for fun and not to programming, or, use the mind every time i want to do IRC function.
Basically, i want to show my desagree, and to say that i'm going to continue with the older aIRC script.

ok theres a little catch, so far there is no "official" release of airc++, only pre-pre-pre alpha or what ever people want to call it.
untill there will be a proper release, I'd suggest stick with "old" aIRC. aIRC++ will get there, just give Tabo and Kamek some time to get things done, all menus etc will appear there eventually, all it needs is a loads of patience...
Now if this was inaccurate information, anyone knowing better, feel free to correct my mistakes here, no offense taken what so ever.

why don't people read? airc is in VERY early developement. it is NOT supposed to replace aIRC yet. it's out for testing purposed only and should NOT be treated as a full script as of yet.
aircpp/airc++ will be MUCH better and MUCH faster once all the modules will be put in. everything you had in aIRC will eventually be in and there will certainly be more too. (full MTS support from Kameks engine for one).
Make it a habit to actually READ the readme files that are included in a distribution. They do explain alot actually. :)

... but airc++ is still a pre-alpha, it is under development and it's not ready to replace aIRC yet.
You should stick with aIRC, airc++ is for the guys that want to help us testing the script and catching bugs. Also for scripters that want to learn some new tricks.
I'm in class and i'm booooooooooooooooooored
