We're back, we're having fun (maybe).
Help for the drivers can be had from our mailing lists; we're busy consolidating patches from here and there.
In the files you'll find a new released wich is called "WIP".
Why ? just because it's a Work In Progress ;)
But this release is a good one, thanks to all the contributions from others "aiptekers".
This release include an installer that allow you to install the latest driver without recompiling all you kernel sources and your X tree. You'll only need the kernel sources (at /usr/src/linux usualy)
Just an
./aiptek-installer
as root, will do (or at least try to do) the job for you.
Do not hesitate to post bugs on the tracker about the driver or the installer (wich is a pre pre pre alpha one ;))... read more
Bryan retired for the project because of a lack of time, I'm the new maintainer (Cdric Brun)of the aiptek device driver and aiptek X driver.
The objective are :
1) - create an installer in order to help debugging
2) - debug debug and debug in order to release an "almost perfect" version rapidly to Xorg and kernel.org.
The Aiptek Tablet Drivers project is almost ready for business! We have files in CVS and most of the pages written.
