aipex / News: Recent posts

after a long time a few updates:
- CreativeCommons 3.0 links used
- new feature: "diashow" (automatic redirection to next photo page)

After a couple of quiet months here's finally a new version of aipex. Release 0.3 comes with enhancements of the user interface, new album look & feels and a change to NSDocument architecture, which is not yet fully used but intended to pave the way for next features and improvements. Addmittedly, in that sense it's rather a typical *.0 release ;-)

Just in time for Italy - Germany semifinal: first exif support added.

New version of aipex features bug fixes (date of photo is now recognized again), selection of CreativeCommons license and first layout supporting multiple thumbnail / contents pages ("galleryII").

aipex has released version 0.2.4. Main updates are: You can now save and load colour configurations of album layouts. And the binary is a first trial of universal binary support.

Main new feature: select / deselect individual photos in album view. So, no switching back to iPhoto or Finder needed to modify album contents.
Two new layouts have been added and all layouts support now changing of colours.

Another small step towards a mature tool has been made: with aipex you can now set the first photo as starting page of the album and - may change in this release: colours of default layout can now be modified!

New release with basically two new features:1. the list of iPhoto albums can now be sorted (useful when having a many albums in iPhoto) and 2. the duration of the export is now measured and displayed.

Lousy weather supported progess: 0.2.1pre2 is available shortly after pre1.
Main Change: the preview-panes, so far gray 'holes' on the screen are filled with life now, enabling the user to see immediately how the selected layout looks like. Currently it's rather an example-view than a full featured preview, but I guess. it serves the purpose.

aipex 0.2.1 pre-release 1 has been published February 1.
Main new features:
GUI completely renewed to support workflow-mode. With few simple clicks a web-album can be generated. Advanced options are grouped to subsequent tabs.
A slim results-view has been added, enabling the user to quickly check the result without switching to a browser.
