Just what it says! Also, finding out everyone that has
you on their buddy list (a la MSN Messanger) would be a
great feature for everyone.

If anyone has ever used the block button...this ability is
better. You can block someone, but eventually they will
realize you haven't been online in awhile, and can just go to
their buddy list, take your screen name, and check you from
another screen name. But if you remove yourself from their
buddy list, by the time they realize it, there's a good chance
they'll have forgotten your screen name. And with seeing
whose buddy list you're on, you can take yourself off of
mysterious buddy lists that are unfamiliar to you or seem like
someone that shouldn't be watching you.

how about this way to track who's list you're on....when
someone adds you to their buddy list i'm pretty sure that
aim does a request for your buddy icon.....

if using the block button, in privacy prefs in aim, allow
all users on your list. if you block someone, they're
removed from their list....and anyone that adds you to
another sn, they can't see you either

AIM automatically updates someone's icon for you. You can
add someone to your buddy list, open an IM, and their icon
will be there. You never even have to IM them. And I agree,
taking yourself off the person's buddy list is better. The idea
is to stop that one person from contacting you. You don't
want to stop everyone in the world who isn't already on your
buddy list from talking to you. A lot of people leave their
screen name on sites they go to or sites to meet people, and
they want people to contact them. So just because one
person is bothering them, it shouldn't mean they have to
totally shut everyone out and act paranoid. Even DeadAIM
has this feature, so I imagine it's not the hardest thing to
implement. I think it's more than worth it and I suggest they
    add this to AIMutation.
