[Aimmath-developers] confusion about "missing parentheses" bug

I am very confused about the "missing parenteses" bug which has oscillated
forth and back between being fixed and being open. There are two things that
puzzle me:

1) version 1.6 of aim/Latex (the latest version) gives me lots of Maple to
Latex errors even though it works for Ken.

2) I now rolled back to aim/Latex version 1.3 which is the one where Neil
had taken out most of the old stuff that predated Maple 8. This had fixed
the bug for Neil, but it does not fix it for me.
