Dear AIM system coding people

The code presently at this repository is for the
aim-tth version
of AIM. Correct?

It might be a good move for the future to restructure
the code so
that a subset of the code is the core for
BOTH aim-tth AND (a revised) aim-plain
this latter having essentially the functionality of the
original,
Norbert van der Bergh, Theodore Kolokolinov (?sp?)
aim-plain.

While I admire the cleverness in aim-tth, I remain to
be convinced
that the on-screen presentation of maths via tth is
essential.
(But, then again, I lecture engineering maths to
Matlab-using
engineers, and Matlab Symbolic Toolbox "pretty" command
gives maple tty-style output. And, actually, it is OK,
even if
unfashionable. Correct answers are more important than
prettiness.)

The proposed restructure might be helpful in
developing, later,
other methods of on-screen presentation of maths.
mapleTA and quite a few other programs use MathML.
