Version: 0.10-6.1 Hi Richard, On Mon, Oct 24, 2005 at 03:36:04PM +0200, Richard van den Berg wrote: > I did not find the string "no errors" in the current source code. Yes, that "no errors" comes from our cron job and is printed if aide exited with a zero exit code _AND_ didn't have any stderr output. The real issue is that aide exists with a zero exit code even if the database was corrupted, and that the error message indicating database corruption is printed to stdout instead of stderr, which makes it pretty hard to detect from the calling script whether there has been a serious problem with aide itself. Current aide seems to correctly issue a non-zero exit code, so this bug is kind of fixed in aide 0.10. Do you plan to better seperate stdout and stderr in the future?
