Hello guys, I am switching from nb179a to nb179b.
Hello guys, I am switching from nb179a to nb179b so I want to import my old
projects quickly. Then I searched my Windows PC (using Ultrasearch) but I did no find any project I developed locally with AIO2 Offline nb179a.
So, if I run AIO2 Offline nb179a I am able to export (and import also) my projects but I really do not find where it stores them.

When you update all old projects are deleted automatically, so you have to make backup before update every time

I always and already do it. Actually I export all projects using that option in AI2 so export from the older and import to the newer. I also have installed several releases to prevent maintenance problems. The question arised in my mind when I was updating AIO2Offline to last release, I had the doubt there was more to export. What I understood (please correct me if I am wrong) is that a project contains also the extensions so I will be able to modify the project as is wihout having to import in the project the aix file. On the other side, if I do not have the aix file I will not be able to create a new project.

yes project files (aia) also contains extensions you can import and modify those projects ,you don't need extensions .You can also check aia file with winrar inside assets folder you can get extension in extracted form.

Ahhhh... do you mean that both aia and aix files are compressed archives so aix contains the extension in library/executable format (jar) and at worst I could extract the extension from the aia file and create the aix?

yes , you can zip that extension folder from assets and rename it to .zip to .aix and you are ready to go
