As this is an important update, it is recommended to make a backup copy of your projects, uninstall the previous version and delete the C:\ai2offline folder. After this you can use the new version without problems. If that doesn't solve the problem, I could post a screenshot of the build server.

I tested the new version with some projects and had no problems in apk and aab generation. I would like to know if you are still experiencing the same problem with version 6.1

Hallo,
I'm using the new version 6. Creating the . aab works successfully.
When creating an .apk I get the error message: [RunD8] ERROR: d8 failed.
Is there a problem with version 6?
With version 5 it works without any problems.
Greetings Frank

Hello Ramiro,
That's exactly how I did it. Directory deleted and my project imported.
This did not solve the problem.
The error was also reported in the AI2 forum. There, ewpatton talks about a proposed fix for the d8 process.
Could that be the reason?
Frank
Hello Ramiro,
do you have a solution for the d8 error?
greetings
Frank
Also error on [RunD8] ERROR: d8 failed.
some AIA work, some don't. I think it's extensions conflict
Hello Ramiro,
I tested a bit more.
If I export my app (aia) from AI2offline and load it into AI2online (nb195e), that's how it can be built (apk).
Is it possible that not all changes from nb195e are included in version 6?
Frank

@Ramiro
I installed the new version 6.1 completely clean.
My app ends with the d8 error when building the apk - please see attachment.
If I create an aab, the creation goes through without errors.
But I didn't dare to put this aab in the Google play store as long as the error still exists in the apk build.

You could provide the build server capture
Hello Ramiro,
Attached is the excerpt from buildserver.cmd.
I hope you can discover something.
Greetings Frank
The file name or extension is too long

Could you help me test the build server https://sourceforge.net/projects/ai2offline/files/BuildServerTest/BuildServer.7z/download to test it you have to replace all the .jar files in C:/AI2Offline/AI2U/BuildServer/
and replace the appengine-web.xml file in C:/AI2Offline/AI2U/AI/WEB-INF/appengine-web.xml https://sourceforge.net/projects/ai2offline/files/BuildServerTest/appengine-web.xml/download
To check if this corrects the problem, greetings.
Edit: The fix is available in version 6.2
