AHE3

The Application Hosting Environment 3 is a lightweight middleware which simplifies user access to computational resources such as the Grid infrastructure through Globus and Unicore as well as other transfer services such as GSIFTP and WebDAV. AHE 3 is implemented using Java with a modular design. It provides a simple REST API access and manage resources, applications, services and credentials for the end-user. It's main purpose is to allow scientific end users to focus on their work rather than the complex IT aspect of the platform.
