I'm not sure how this happens, but the problem here is that an argument
for "-rpath" is missing. I don't think -rpath option is necessary to
compile the python wrapper. So, one solution could be for you to modify
the relevant makefile manually to remove the -rpath option from the
offending libtool command line.
Another option is: Maybe you could go to the ag_wrapper/python directory
and enter the following, modified command line:
/bin/bash ../../../libtool --mode=link g++ -g -O2 -L../../ag
-L../../ag/.libs -o ag.la -no-undefined -module -version-info 1:0:0
ag.lo -lag
Note that -rpath is removed from this command line.
