My plans have changed significantly. I am in the process of moving from one side of Bangalore to the other--about a 45 minute drive. And I have accepted the position of Director of Development for Fiorano-- www.fiorano.com
   
  These last few days were spent first in interviews at Fiorano and then looking for a place to stay. We ended up with an old English cottage on a bit of land with a lot of trees and other greenery. The wiring is modern and meets the standard for Bangalore--3KVA. The grounds are cool and relaxing in distinct contrast to the hundreds of highrise appartment buildings going up there in Whitefield. We only need to have a bit of work done to install the AC and water purifier.
   
  Now of course we need to get ready to move. Monday I should get a feasibility report from Airtel on a DSL connection. (I'd rather not go wireless--that's only 115k baud.) Move date is 31 October.
   
  After that, lets see what happens.
