I was contemplating all these confirmations that my AfW has to send out on a daily basis. Right now I only have a 1 layer of Spam detection/protection, AfW. I was trying to think of ways to cut down on how many confirmations that AfW has to send out (and how much bandwidth it uses). I can only fathom that 90-95% of them are just confirmations sent to spammers. Have any of you guys that use AfW setup a 2nd layer of spam detection/protection..that sits in front of AfW? Like for example..run POPFile..or some other Bayesian filter/detection so that only those e-mails that don't look like spam get sent confirmations? That way you could save on bandwidth usage. I am trying to determine if it might be more hassle than it's worth...appreciate any insight you guys have on the issue. :-) Cheers! -- Tim Jaeger company: Remnant Publications e-mail: tj...@re... bus. phone: 517-279-1304 fax phone: 517-279-1804 |
