Make sure you install the international version of your JRE (otherwise you
won't have support for Cp1146):

I tried the sample code on Windows XP. The renderer starts, but the=20
UnsupportedEncodingException Error occurs by the CharactreSet Constructor.=
 Why? Does anyone have the answer?
