That sounds suspiciously like a bug. I'll try and reproduce the problem
locally, but unfortunately I don't have much time for hacking at the
moment, and Pete is on holidays for a few more weeks yet. If your
implementation timescale is less than a month, you'll probably need to
look at removing the border (sorry!)
Of course, any other volunteers are always welcome to submit a patch ;-)
