#7 btctl discovery error

I installed affix 2.0.2 on redhat 7.3 with kernel version
2.4.18-3 When I do a btctl, I get hte relevent
information about the bluetooth device. However, when
I do a btctl discovery, I get the following error:

Searching for 8 sec ...
System error: Input/output error (5)

Anyone can help?
